Crabs are the core part of our business.
Live crabs are stored in our sea water holding tanks for the shortest
period to ensure top quality for you and your customers.
Our crab processing factories cook and process live crabs in to fresh
cooked crabs, vacuum packed pasteurised crabs, vacuum packed frozen crabs,
crabmeats and dressed crabs.
The majority or our whole cooked crabs are female but we are able to
process whole male crabs to order when available.
Brown
crabmeat and White crabmeat
Normally sold per 500g/250g in our pasteurised form giving a
shelf life of up to four weeks. This is a wonderful way of enjoying the
goodness of fresh crabmeat, especially if you don't have the time to 'pick
your own'. This product has been cooked and hand picked then placed in
a bag and vacuum packed. A date label is then added and the product is
pasteurised. No additives or preservatives, just the best natural flavor.
Every care has been taken to remove all traces of shell, although some
small pieces may remain.
Fresh whole cooked cock, hen
Sold per crab, priced per kilo, male crabs are more expensive
larger claws, better meat yield in the spring, whereas hen crabs are fuller
in the autumn. Unless otherwise requested, this product will be cooked
for you before delivery. Should you require live crabs, please cook on
day of delivery. Upon delivery, cooked crabs should be consumed within
2 days and stored at 0-8 degrees, unless frozen (please follow freezer
manufacturers instructions).
Spider crabs
We started selling Spider Crabmeat only a few years ago; the demand is
huge so to avoid dissapointment please place your order early! Spider
crabs are too sharp and spiny to vacuum pack and we are currently looking
at alternative packaging.
