W Harvey & Sons receive Pride in Seafood award – and
are ready to do business.
One of the UK’s premier crabmeat producers, W Harvey and Sons,
have expanded their business to two factories – and are now looking
for extra business from any individual or companies. The company has a
distinguished heritage stretching back 50 years and are still a family
firm continuing with third and fourth generation family members –
and it is this commitment to the business and product quality that has
landed them a Pride in Seafood award.
The business still holds dear its original focus: to help and encourage
local fishermen both on our own fishing vessels and another 150 privately
owned boats, to buy the best local produce, to process the products in
their own factory, and set the standard for our local, national and international
customers.
Rachel Harvey said: “My family has been producing the finest crabmeat
for generations and our recent expansion has enabled us to seek new business
and spread our wings even further. If any restaurant, hotels, supermarkets,
